目前担任中华眼科学会角膜病学组委员，浙江省眼科学会青年委员，温州医学院附属眼视光医院角膜与眼表疾病专科主任，扶贫白内障中心副主任，国家药物临床试验基地副主任，温州市眼库常务副主任。温州市551人才第一层次、浙江省151人才工程第三层次培养人才，温州医学院中青年学科带头人。
擅长各类角膜移植手术（包括深板层移植和内皮移植手术），复杂白内障手术，干眼，各类角膜炎和疑难角膜病诊治，眼化学伤的综合治疗等。个人已经开展各类角膜移植手术约近千台，是国内开展角膜移植手术量最大的手术医师之一。
主要研究方向为角膜与眼表疾病的基础和临床研究、干眼模型和分子发病机制、角膜缘干细胞的体外培养扩充及移植和光学性板层角膜移植，白内障防盲模式的建立等。先后主持承担国家自然科学基金面上项目一项，浙江省自然科学基金资助两项，浙江省教育厅和卫生厅基金各一项，市科技局课题2项，发表美国病理学杂志,
美国眼科学杂志, 眼科与视觉科学杂志, 美国屈光手术学杂志等SCI收录文章十六篇，影响因子总和超过50分。获得2001年浙江省科技进步奖一等奖和2006年浙江省高校科研成果三等奖。
